Sandai

Your best friend in Singapore

Sandai is a Singapore publication about living here well — the weekend that is actually worth leaving the house for, the cafe with the good aircon and the power points, the sign-up bonus that pays real money instead of wasting an afternoon.

Most Singapore guides are written once and left to rot. A “best cafes” list from 2023 still recommends places that shut in 2024. We built Sandai the other way around: every place, event and offer we write about lives in a database with the source it came from and the date we last checked it. When something closes or an offer expires, the article changes.

Who is behind it

Wilson Lim — founder and editor. Based in Singapore.

[Placeholder — replace with a real bio: how long you have lived in Singapore, what you did before this, why you started Sandai, and a way to reach you. Add a real photograph. This section is what Google and prospective sponsors both look at first.]

How the work gets made

Sandai uses AI to read Singapore’s publications, forums and official sources every two hours, to find what is worth covering and to draft it. Every draft is then fact-checked against its sources and reviewed by a person before it publishes. Nothing goes live unreviewed.

We say this plainly because you should know how what you are reading was made. The full standard is in our editorial policy.

Working with us

We take sponsored placements and use affiliate links, and we label both, every time, at the top of the article rather than buried at the bottom. Being paid does not change whether we check something.
